When it comes to cleaning, every person can use a few hacks. Having a home means that there will be unexpected cleaning problems every now and then. It is definitely helpful to know a few hacks that help you clean faster and make you seem like a pro at it. Here are some simple yet effective cleaning hacks that will make you a pro at cleaning:

1. To clean a dirty shower head, take a plastic bag, fill it with white vinegar and using a rubber band, secure the shower head in vinegar overnight. Scrub clean in the morning.
2. If you want to disinfect your sponges, just microwave the sponge on high for 1 minute. It is a double cleaning as the water from the sponges will moisten the insides of the microwave and you can wipe it clean in a minute!
3. If you are dusting your room, make sure you turn on the AC. This way, all the remaining dust particles will get absorbed in the AC.
4. When dusting, make sure you wipe your lightbulbs to get more lights.
5. If you have a clogged drain, take a cup of baking soda and pour it down the drain. Follow this up by pouring one cup of white vinegar down the drain and pour hot water next. Now wait for 30 minutes and your drain will be as good as new.
6. Clean your wooden chopping board by using some simple ingredients – salt, baking soda, lemon, vinegar and water. This way, it will be clean in a minute.
7. If you are someone who uses the toaster a lot, you will need just one tool to clean out all the crumbs – a pastry brush!
