Twin of Vajragad fort, Purandar fort is situated at a height of 4472 feet. 6. Visapur Fort Trek

Located 60 km from Pune and 100 km from Mumbai, Vispur Fort stands at an elevation of 1084 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest forts in Maharashtra. As mentioned earlier the most exciting part about this trek is that most of the trek is through the waterfall, which one can enjoy only during monsoons. The average time for this trek is two to three hours.

7. Tikona Fort Trek
